Martin introduced by Stuart

Martin is an avid hill walker, from which his interest in photography developed as he has sought to capture the rugged, brooding beauty of mountain landscapes. Martin particularly enjoys taking longer exposures and capturing images that bring out movement in waterfalls, rivers and tides capturing a unique moment in time.

Martin thrives on continually learning new skills, and enjoys challenging and supporting others to do the same. He has a great deal of knowledge and skills to pass on.

Martin has a quiet, reflective nature which exudes a sense of reserved calm, but don't let that fool you.. He has a coaching and mentoring background that he skillfully employs to guide and support clients in all aspects of image composition, capture and editing.

Liz and Stuart have photographed professionally together for more than ten years, creating a business with 100% 5* ratings. Like many, the pandemic prompted us to reassess our work-life balance and goals. One of the outcomes was realising that we wanted to re-prioritise our landscape/travel and teaching work. Another was recognising the benefits of increasing the team and to that end they are excited to introduce Martin. Now we are three!

Put simply, Liz is an exceptional photographer. Whether it's a dramatic landscape or a proud father of the bride, she has a skill for capturing life's precious moments. Her stunning images tell a story and evoke emotion.

Liz has an insatiable love of exploring new places and seeking out new experiences, which is particularly evident in her breathtaking travel and landscape photography. But her expertise means that she can photograph any subject with amazing results. She reads light like no other photographer I have met! As a result she has won awards, been published and is regularly asked to judge competitions and give photography talks.

Liz had a very successful teaching career for over 20 years before pursuing her passion for photography; she is a great photography educator.

Working with Liz is an absolute pleasure. She has a natural joie de vivre that is infectious and she puts everyone at ease, bringing out the best in them. Her creativity and passion are simply inspiring.

Stuart by Liz

The moment you meet Stuart you know that you are in safe hands. You feel that sense that he will do whatever is necessary for you to succeed. Clients warm to him immediately.

Stuart is the perfect mix of funny, warm geekiness. He is "Mr Tech"; able to analyse an issue or teach complex things by breaking them down into small, sequential steps. Stuart was previously in the RAF and particularly enjoys the technical aspects of photography which he also enjoys teaching. His attention to detail is second to none. But he is no boring nerd - he has a quick fire humour to add into the mix.

Stuart captures beautiful landscapes, but has a real passion for capturing them in less conventional ways for example with a drone, 360 camera or tilt and shift lens. His "alternative" 1:1 tuition days are extremely popular and for very good reason!
